Much easier and cheaper than trying to park in Cambridge.

We were attending a match at the football stadium. Parking at the park and ride was easy and there was a convenient waiting room with toilets and drinks machine if you needed it. The buses came promptly and were clean and comfortable and we quickly reached our destination. HOWEVER...the return journey was not so pleasant. The traffic was queuing going out of Cambridge, there was no sign of a bus for ages and no chance of getting anywhere fast if one came. We decided to walk the mile back to the park and ride, about half an hour's walk, and when we arrived there was still no sign of a bus. I have fibromyalgia and I was left feeling sore, aching and exhausted with an hour's drive still ahead of me. I can't help thinking that a bus lane would prevent this problem and is probably essential to make a park and ride service operate effectively.

The buses take forever to arrive. Sign says bus in 10mins... ... 10.mins go past, it resets and says 10 mins... ...then does it again. Useless system. Needs buses that turn up

Great idea to park for free and take the bus (which is not free, but is fairly inexpensive). The only issue is the hours. The busses stop running around 8pm and you must take the correct bus to get back. We ended up having dinner and then having to get a taxi back to the park and ride because the busses were no longer running. I know Cambridge is trying to get rid of parking lots so they can be a walking/ cycling city, but they just need better resources if they are going to do it. We actively avoid going into Cambridge for dinner or other things, which would contribute to a better economy with us spending our money there because of this issue.

Staying just down the road on caravan club site in a campervan to visit Cambridge. Cannot get under the barrier to park at the park and ride!!! What a farse, where do we park to visit?? Abviously do not want our custom 😳

Very convenient place to park, parking is free and 7 pounds return for two adults. There is a nice visitor information centre where you can use the washrooms. There is a vending machine and can get some coffee as well.

Plenty of parking spaces and regular buses which take you to and from the city. Easy to pay for park and ride via the Ringo app. 4 stars given as I was a little surprised to have to pay for both the parking and the bus ride to and from the city.

Loads of parking space. Free parking for 8 hours. Easy and hassle free to get to the city centre. Have a PR bus every 15 minutes. 3.50 for adult with return and free for kids. Also clean and neat washroom.

Nice to be able to leave the car behind and go into the centre. Cheap ticket prices too £3 return and no car park fees. The buses were clean and wasn't that busy when we travelled into the city centre . Had a lovely day even though the weather wasn't great. Plenty to do about , especially if you like musuems. The bus took about 15 minutes to get to the last stop. However the queue coming back was alot longer and lucky we got a seat. This could have been due to it being a black Friday weekend so alot of people out shopping .
